Analysis of compressor abnormal sound

Air compressor abnormal sound causes: (1) There are some objects on top of the piston. (2) Loose fixing bolts; (3) The belt is too loose, and the main and passive belt grooves do not conform to cause slipping and generate howling; (4) The connecting rod wears badly,  or the connecting rod bolts are loose, or the connecting rod bushing wears badly, or serious wear/damage to the main shaft makes a crash sound; (5) Loosening of the tightening gear nut, resulting in oversized backlash and producing knocking sound; (6) No immediate oil supply after operation, the metal friction produces howling;

Common methods for judging the breakdown of air compressors and troubleshooting: 
(1) Remove the objects first; 
(2) Check if the fixing bolts are loosened and fasten them;
(3) Check the groove of the passive pulley and the drive pulley if two of them are not the same. It should be replaced with the same, and do not forget to adjust the tightness of the belt, generally pressing 10mm downward with your fingers is the best; 
(4) Check the oil inlet pressure, oil pipeline whether it is blocked or damaged, the pressure is enough or not. Clean and replace the defective pipe immediately. Check the impurity content of the lubricant. Compare it with the standard of use. Replace it immediately if it exceeds the standard. Check if the air compressor is supplied with oil. Perform a thorough inspection immediately.
(5) Check whether the connecting rods, connecting rod bushings, and the main bearing bushes are worn, damaged, burned or not, whether the connecting rod bolts are loose; check the main oil channels of the air compressor, and replace bushings, bearing bushes, and main bearing bushes that are worn or strained.  Tighten the connecting rod bolts (35 to 40 Nm). Use compressed air to align the oil inlet of the air compressor. Use the air to dredge the main oil channel. When reassembling, pay attention to the spindle bearing installation; (6) Gear-driven air compressors should also be inspected for the loosing gears or gear mounting situation. Loosed nuts should be tightened, and gear mounting problem should be replaced.
